Lyme Green's founder Sarah Crisp was raised in the South East of England in a family of entrepreneurs. She began her career in the marketing and design department of one of the family businesses - whilst also carving out a competitive career in show jumping.
Sarah's more formal education came via Newcastle University Business School where she majored in Marketing. She went on to set up her first marketing and design agency, whilst completing her MBA. Clients ranged from musicians to horticulturalists; artists to retailers. This is where she met her husband Jeremy, whose career took them back to the South East of England and London. Sarah spent the next 15 years in corporate communications and organizational development in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.
This experience included marketing and brand development in the manufacturing and construction industries; internal and external communications in the public sector; media and crisis management in the healthcare sector and stakeholder development in the not-for-profit sector. She developed and implemented major internal and external communications strategies in the UK's National Health Service and held various board positons in communications and organizational development working closely with both Executive and Non-Executive Chairmen.
Following her move to Connecticut, Sarah has combined her love of design and her passion for entrepreneurial-style and new-start businesses, with her 20 years experience in marketing, design & communications. Her experience spans industries ranging from construction and manufacturing to healthcare and consultancy.
When she's not working or standing on the sidelines of some distant soccer or lacrosse field, Sarah and her family love anything and everything outdoors.
